Fully integrated in the UAE as FITR Training powers Vogue Fitness

Vogue Fitness is the first company in the UAE to utilise the integrated payment system on FITR Training, since Stripe was allowed to be used in the UAE earlier this month.

We caught up with Georgia Watkins, Business Manager at Vogue, to find out more…‍

‍Vogue Fitness is a big set up in the UAE?‍

Yes it is! We currently have 13 facilities throughout the UAE with more coming online in 2022. We pride ourselves on world-class coaching and amazing facilities in truly unique locations. We have facilities overlooking the Formula 1 track at Yas Marina, venues rolling onto the beach and ocean at Al Muneera and iconic views overlooking the Abu Dhabi central business district from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, to highlight a few!‍

How does FITR Training fall into your business strategy?‍

A big percentage of our membership base are UAE nationals however we cater for a large number of expats. There is a transient culture amongst our expat community who tend to be in the UAE from 1-5 years. The upshot of the latter is that if members should leave us here in the UAE they do not want to lose a connection with our community. Therefore we started to look at  remote programming to keep connections going.

Another element  we discovered was that our members wanted extra programming to help get that pull up, muscle up etc so we developed an extra add on 1-2 hour accessory program that members could avail to help them reach their next level. This has been hugely popular and beneficial to our members across all our gyms.‍

Did you look at other platforms?‍

Yes we looked at most of them but FITR Training was the only platform that offered the scalability of 1:1, large based group programming and integrated payment.‍

How did you hear about FITR Training‍

It was word of mouth, which is always the best way! One of our Head Coaches and several of our coaching staff use the system and informed us to go and check it out.‍

What set FITR Training aside and made you pick us?‍

The customer support has been invaluable, super friendly and the help centre has been so easy to access for anything I needed help with.

It’s made a huge difference to us now that we can use Stripe in the UAE so all the finance side of the business can be fully integrated in the platform, making my life so much easier.‍

What are the plans for Vogue Fitness online?‍

We have only just dipped our toe into it! We have our extra 1 hr programming which is on a group rolling calendar and we are looking at doing some fixed length programs centred on strength and gymnastics. I don't want to give too much away but maybe an ebook style of prehab rehab!‍

Currently we are creating our own library of videos to accompany our programs.‍

But I’m just delighted that whatever we decide to do in the future that all the mechanics are there in the software for us to diversify and grow online.
