Do I need a Coach or Brand/Gym account?

Accepted Answer

If you only need to coach under your name and don't need to invite other coaches to help, our standalone coach account is for you. You can still join other brands and gyms on Fitr Training at no extra cost to you. If you're looking to team up with 2+ coaches and manage clients under a single identity, choose our brand/gym account. You'll be able to invite other coaches to coach under your brand or gym name.

I’m joining a brand or gym, do I need a coach or a brand/gym account?

Accepted Answer

If you've been invited to join a brand or gym on Fitr Training, follow the email invitation to get started. You'll automatically be linked up to the team you're joining, and you won't have to pay any monthly subscription fee. If you decide that you'd also like to offer programming from your personal profile, you can upgrade to a coach account at any time.

What if I need a Coach and Brand/Gym account?

On Fitr Training, you can be linked into as many brands and gyms as needed, as well as offering coaching under your own name independently. If you know that you'll need both accounts straight away, sign up as either a coach or brand/gym. Once you're in the platform, you can easily set up additional accounts by clicking on your profile icon and selecting ‘Create new account’. Just like Instagram, you can quickly switch between your accounts without having to leave our platform.

What are transaction fees?

Transaction fees are applied when you charge for selling one of your programs. We handle all payments within our platform using Stripe, and transaction fees will automatically be deducted from coach payouts.

Question 5

Why do I pay fees when selling my programming?

Accepted Answer

When setting up payments, you'll be asked to upload some identity information and your banking details, all of which are stored securely by our payment processor, Stripe. The 5% fee on paid programs covers all associated costs with covering charges, transactions and automatic deposits into your bank, as well as helping us to continue developing our platform.

Do I need my own Stripe account for accepting payments?

Accepted Answer

In short, no! We use a central Stripe account so that we can bill clients on your behalf before automatically transferring the payments into your bank account.

Question 7

Can I sell my programs for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you want to charge your clients outside of our platform, offer free programming to boost your brand/gym or to help your clients, you can choose not to charge. You won’t be charged any processing fees when offering free programming.

Question 8

Do my clients have to pay for an account?

Accepted Answer

All client accounts are free, they’ll only be charged when they purchase programming from a Fitr Training coach.

Question 9

What happens after my 30-day free trial?

Accepted Answer

When your 30-day free trial ends, you'll be asked whether you'd like to upgrade your account to a paid plan. You can upgrade your account at any time during the trial, and you'll still receive your full 30 days for free!

Question 10

Do I get access to every feature?

Accepted Answer

Everyone who signs up can access all of the features relating to their account type. For example, if you’re a standalone coach, you’ll be able to use everything included on our features page, except the ability to create a brand/gym and invite other coaches to train with you.
