This is the second of a three-part series that takes you through our plan types, and the way they can be used to optimise your business. If you haven’t read part one, we suggest heading back to our blog and reading that first.

We’ve taken you through bespoke plans and how you can use them in your business but the second and third posts in this series are designed to show you how Fitr. makes it super easy to ramp up your earnings.
As a quick recap, one-off sales are plans that you can create with a set time period and sold at a set price. There are no ongoing membership fees involved, a one-off purchase for a one-off block of content.
Well, anytime you want but that’s not a useful answer. We’ve got two great way to use these plans for your business…
Let’s face it, it’s hard to get people to subscribe to content straight away if they don’t know who you are, or what your programming is about.
One-off plans can be used as a way to introduce people to your brand on a low risk basis. Why? Well they aren’t committing to paying you a monthly fee. It lets them touch and feel your programming without any long-term commitment.
If your one-off plans have some great content, then at the end of the plan they may decide to move onto one of your automated plans (we’ll come to this plan type in the next blog post in this series) or even become a high value bespoke client.
With Fitr.’s dashboard capability for re-marketing to anyone who’s bought anything in your business, you can message these people directly in Fitr. saying “Hey, you liked this plan, how about you try this plan next.”
The choice is yours at the end of the day but why not give a couple of weeks of content away for a low price to entice people into your brand? What better way to say “Hey, look at me, here’s some content, don’t pay me much, and if you like it, here’s other plans I have to offer.”
The best way to explain this is with an example. Let's say there’s a lady called Jane Doe and she can’t perform pull ups in the gym but really wants to. She doesn’t need ongoing programming to achieve this goal, but a set regime to follow for the next 12 weeks to improve this area of her fitness.
A one-off plan is the best way to let Jane achieve this goal.
If you've got great programming that achieve a goal in a set time period, one-off plan sales are for you. 8-week plan to improve handstand push ups, muscle up progression, core strength, squat technique, the list is endless!
Using fixed length plans for this type of programming is a great and really efficient way to build your brand and income. Why? Well, when someone buys this plan you, the coach, aren’t required to go into the person’s calendar and drop content in, this is done 100% automatically with the Fitr. software.
Well it means you can build the content once and sell it to the world, with no need to copy and paste content again and again.
This makes it sound like you can create the plan and sales will just flood in. This might not be the case, as much as we’d love it to be.
If you’re a very well-known coach that might be the case but in reality, you’ll have to put some legwork in to share the plan to the world and entice people to buy. We’ll do everything we can, but you have to do some work as well.
We’d also recommend you come back to the plan and update it over time with improvements. As with anything, content gets better and better as the more people interact with it and provide feedback.
The worst thing you can do is build a plan and leave it sitting there. Get out there and make a name for yourself.
What you have to balance is the fact that your content isn’t bespoke to one person, it’s designed to work for anyone who it interests. Therefore, this would suggest it can’t be priced as high as bespoke coaching.
However, on the flip side, you’ve taken the time and knowledge to build this plan, so you don’t want to give it away cheaply. Remember the thought process in the first blog, think how long it took you and how many times you think you’ll sell it.
To throw another consideration in the mix, you may want this plan to also be used for some brand promotion, enticing people onto your membership plans.
As you can see there’s no set formula, wouldn’t it be handy if there was!
It’s a grey area and you might not get it right first time. It may be that you set your first fixed plan too low on reflection. Don’t beat yourself up about it, it’s a learning experience. Use your experience to tailor the next plan correctly so you get the balance of value for money for the client and value you deserve to earn!
